“The Trustees of Magic Me are overjoyed that our Director Susan Langford has been honoured with an MBE. We are privileged to work alongside Susan, and so we have known for a long time that she is a very special person. She has dedicated her professional life, 21 years to be precise, to working with older and young people in Tower Hamlets, leading the way in pioneering and developing intergenerational work in the UK and internationally. It is right that her contribution to society is recognised in this way. Susan we congratulate you.” Jacqui Christian Chair of Trustees

Magic Me Director and Founder, Susan Langford, has just been appointed an MBE in the Birthday 2010 Honours List, for ‘services to the charity Magic Me.’ She will be invited to an Investiture, probably at Buckingham Palace, later in the year.“The Trustees of Magic Me are overjoyed that our Director Susan Langford has been honoured with an MBE. Susan we congratulate you.”
This recognition is very timely as Magic Me celebrates its 21st Birthday this year. Our work and expertise have never been so in demand, as people across the UK understand the power of good intergenerational relationships in building stronger communities.
